Formwork for ground beamsI checked carefully to ensure that there was sufficient space between the reinforcement and the wooden formwork. Some adjustment was necessary. If the steel dosent have a concrete cover (of sufficent thickness) then it will be exposed to the atmosphere and will corrode. At best this will show as a dirty brown mark on the exterior of the structure and at worst, over time could cause structural failure.chiyman

Piles of Sand and stone for concrete mixingI should have insisted that a wooden structure be constructed to hold the sand and stone as just dumping it on the ground and using it caused a lot of wastage and required a big clean up later on. chiyman
