Steel for the Footings placed with Concrete pipes for the below ground sections of the columns supported with yuca poles.chiyman
Footing in place, supported on clay bricks to allow concrete to flow arround the pad. Pad overall dimension 1.5m x 1.5m steel cage dimension 1.3m x 1.3 m.I had to complete the first stages of the construction quickly so decided to use the conceret pipes to form the below grade section of the columns. This allows backfilling of the footing as soon as the concrete had hardened and avoided the need to construct wooden forms.chiyman
