Found the pipesConcrete pipes are needed in order to build a pier to mount the telescope. Appropriate concrete pipes were found at the local cement/pip shop. Each pipe is 1 metre long, with an inside diameter of 28 cm. Cost per pipe is 280 baht. I bought 3, and the delivery van followed us to site.Max&Bee-in-CM

The metal ladyThe local very friendly and helpful metal shop lady. Total cost to cut 3 metal plates (30 cm X 30 cm), and the long bolts and 20 nuts was 1360 baht.Max&Bee-in-CM

Metal rodsThe rods that will be used to secure the 30 cm X 30 cm metal plates to the concrete pier and each other. They will need to be cut to size.Max&Bee-in-CM

Hole #2The second hole is dug out by hand, size is 1 m cubed.Max&Bee-in-CM
