Example Roof TrussA roof truss from a different project. We will be using a modification of this with a 'm' truss design. The shot is notable, because normally a 'truss' system is not used here. With foundation columns and internal walls, the roof structure is normally dependent on being able to be supported within the house boundaries, ie not a truss.

Air VentAir from the plumbing appliances, such as toilet, sink, floor drains, urinal are properly vented up through the wall and out of the ceiling. This is rather rare in Thai construction but is a standard in other countries. The symptom of improperly vented appliances is that they do not flow properly, the vents allow air into the system so no vacuum is formed, allowing a proper flow.dozer11111

This shows the relative size of the large cinderblocks along with the crushed stone aggregate that will be used in concrete within every other hole of the blocks. The walls thus created will be load bearing walls, every other hole will be filled with 12mm metal rebar and concrete to make the embedded support columns.

Poured FoundationThe poured foundation - which includes the outside ground beam (plus interior ground beams) and the poured floor surface. The floor was poured on top of the ground beam, so the level of the foundation increased by appx. 7 cm during the pour. Notice the plumbing in the bathroom and the vertical rebar each 40 centimeters.
