21 March 2009Here is another view of the wood that is used to block under the roof tile. When this gets finished it will look nice. This type of wood here is somewhat of a trademark for this builder. He does this on all his houses.pklongball

21 March 2009This may seem like an odd view of the roof but what I am trying to show is the wood fascia boards the builder uses on the eaves. We are not using the typical plastic curved pieces under the first layer of tile. The men custom cut this wood to form an almost perfect fit to the underside of the tile to keep the critters and birds out.pklongball

21 Feb 2009This flight of steps is at the side of the house that gets us up to the back balcony area. So when the forms come off we will have a way up to the floor area from 2 points and no more crawling up and down for the duration of the build.pklongball

21 Feb 2009The builder decided we needed the steps built now as opposed to waiting. I agreed as now we will have a way to get from the ground to the floor area without the need for makeshift ladders and stuff.pklongball
