Applying the Color Render CoatThe color render coat is applied much the same as a normal render coat. In preparation however a previous coat was applied in a rough state and allowed to set for a week, which prevents the underlying block shape from bleeding through. dozer00000

Gate RailThe rail for the gate is laid in place The rail must run level and equidistant from the wall to ensure easy opening and closing of the gate. The rail will be concreted into place. It is strip of 1.5 inch angle steel with a 12 mm round steel rod welded on top. Two sets of two large 4 inch wheels (total of 4) with an indentation will be affixed to the lower edge of the gate, the wheels are grooved to run along the rod. dozer00000
