10 - looks like finished treatment40 viewsBoth cuts look like finished treatment, look good with ruber paste ... but on the right, the cut direction was not optimal, meaning that the tree could not cover the cut directly. The tree then has to 'sacrifice' the branch remnant first (dead branch), wait for it to fall off, then try to cover the hole.
Exact opposite of tree doctoring. Had to ask the guys to climb again...

Should have been properly treated when fresh. The branch has been broken/cut twice ; hole open on wood inside tree ; not looking good for aesthetics.
