Formwork for ground beamsI checked carefully to ensure that there was sufficient space between the reinforcement and the wooden formwork. Some adjustment was necessary. If the steel dosent have a concrete cover (of sufficent thickness) then it will be exposed to the atmosphere and will corrode. At best this will show as a dirty brown mark on the exterior of the structure and at worst, over time could cause structural failure.chiymanJan 18, 2011

The workers camp with excess concrete being used for a place for washing. The workers like to stay in the tent which they regarded as more professional than constructing their own accommodation!!chiymanDec 27, 2010
