Front View from the SoiHouse was built about 35-40 years ago. Apart from a kitchen and bathroom add on at the back not a lot changed in that time. Some great wood floors, was tempted to keep it for use in the new house but no where to store so gave in and recycled it with the locals.changnoiSep 10, 2009

After the knock down for Wood and Roof TinThis is what was left after the guys came early one morning after mother-in-law had struck the deal. Not much left thats for sure. A couple of other people came and tookbits and peices over the next couple of weeks. Was surprised what lengths people would goto to salvage the metal from the concrete stairs and columns.changnoiSep 10, 2009

before and after tung coathere's 2 different kinds of woods, before and after 1 coat of 1/1 tung oil and mineral spirits, to show how the oil colors the wood. I bought the oil from Thorzen, in Bkk. They have a website, they're growing, and pressing the oil themselves, so you know you're getting pure tung, not tung mixed with Jatropha, or other cheaper oils.thaimicSep 03, 2009
