First floor columns complete, roof ring beam being constructed from steel.The roof ring beam is commected to the top of the columns by welding to the reinforcement protrouding form the top of the column. An RC beam will also be constructed as a lintel for the large upstairs bedroom window - the formwork for this can be seen. I tried to make sure that safety on site was as good as possible but Thai people have their own way of doing things!! Fortunately he didnt fall off and indeed the whole project has been completed without any accident on site.
