Primer Second CoatThe second coat of TOA outside primer is applied. This is one area where it doesn't pay to corner cut, although you can get by with a single coat of an inferior primer the paint job won't hold up as it will with premo paints.dozerSep 27, 2011

Exterior Perimeter WallHouse as it looked during finishing when the exterior perimeter wall was being built. Note the perimeter all columns will be poured around the wall sections (ie. not done first), which increases the strength of the wall joints.dozerSep 27, 2011

Ceiling Sanding PlasterHere the plaster is sanded so that the ceiling paint will adhere. The round spots are where the sheetrock gypsum board is screwed into the aluminum framework. The lines are where the joints are taped between pieces.dozerSep 27, 2011

Smoothing a Render CoatThis shows a broom being used to smooth an external render coat. The broom is used as the final step in the rendering process after the surface is smoothed with a sponge application.dozerSep 27, 2011

Kitchen CounterThe start of the kitchen counter. The counter supports are done using red brick and cement. Note the area to the left of the worker is plumbed for the kitchen sink.dozerSep 27, 2011

Kitchen CounterThe surface of the counter is applied with freshly mixed concrete (portland cement with addition of sand and small stone aggregate). The hole to the left is where the stainless steel sink will sit and the tube extruding from the counter is for the faucet.dozerSep 27, 2011
