Burnt Rice HuskBurnt rice husk, as pictured here, makes an excellent insulator. In this project it was used in designated open over size cinderblock holes as an insulator. Slump TestCPAC ready mix cement quality control (QC) staff perform a slump test. This is a standard test which is done to verify that the concrete is 'firm' enough. The slump is measure from the top of the cone and is specified to be between 5 to 10 cm.

Concrete Compressive Strength VerificationThis report shows the results of the compressive strength test on the concrete samples taken by the quality control staff. It is a good verification as the quality of the concrete used in the foundation is significant.dozerSep 27, 2011

The outside block of these group of 4 blocks, which will be located in the shower stall, are opaque (the light will come in, but shapes cannot be made out inside the shower stall).
