Outer RowsThese are 'bezen' brand small tiles suitable for driveways and patios. The tiler will be using the outside rows as the basis for the pattern. Here straight lines are being generated using a red chalk string line. dozer

Tile WashingThe tiles are always prepared by immersion in fresh water prior to being laid. dozer

Tile Spacer GuideA tile is used as a spacer guide to ensure the proper distance between tiles.dozer

Outer Row with TrimThe tiles are spaced a 1 cm distance. The trim piece has been applied to the edge. Notice the red chalk guide lines have also been laid down. dozer

Fitting a Tile into PlaceA tile is fitted into place using the handle of a regular hammer.dozer

Cement Grout being AppliedThe grout used is cement mixed with sand. dozer

Finished SurfaceThe finished surface prior to acid scrub to remove some signs of cement discoloration. dozer

Drive Way Extra RebarExtra rebar is used in the driveway. One layer of rebar is already there, the tiler will add a second layer which sits in another 5 cm of concrete as he prepares the surface for tiling.dozer
