View posts since last visit

Most forums have a feature that lets you see all posts since your last visit.

I have not found that feature here.

If it is, please tell me.

If not, can that feature be added?

Thanks for pointing this out.

The feature is there only under the Soft Green style, not the liteVision profile. I never noticed this before myself, but I normally use the Soft Green stlye. To change the style click on PROFILE at the top of the screen and scroll down to Board Style. You can change it and update.

In the future when phpBB 3.0 is released, I will be updating the style so this won't be an issue anymore. For now use the Soft Green style.

When using the Soft Green style the feature is on the top right part of the screen.

The Soft Green layout is much more user friendly, I find. This site is great but maybe there are just too many different topics! I have spent hours going around and around but often find I am reading the same info yet again! Otherwise, no complaints.

Another thing missing from the blue style is the thread page index at the bottom of the page. For multi-page threads you have to return to the top of the page to go to the next page. Hopefully the software update will fix that as well.

I like the blue color scheme a little better but the view-post-since-last-visit and the thread page index are enough to switch to the green. Unfortunately, at least on my setup, the side margins for the green style are very wide so the text column is compressed and not as easy to read. Maybe in the software update.....
