Watched Topic Reply When None Exists

Have received two queries about this problem. Here is what happens:

1.) You select to be notified when there is a new reply on a topic, known as watching the topic.
2.) A reply is posted lets say at 7:00 AM.
3.) At 7:00 AM a email is automatically sent notifying you of the new reply to the watched topic.
4.) At 8:00 AM a moderator recognizes that the post is pure spam. The post is deleted.
5.) At 9:00 AM you read your email and click the link to read the message. Of course at this point the message has been deleted so you see the thread pre spam in its original state.

We have been getting some spams lately so that explains it. Normally the email will indicate a valid reply, but in the case of spam it may already have been deleted.
