I've recently installed and tested a Spell Check routine. You can see a SpellCheck button to the lower right of the posting box. Once you type your post, if you want to check spelling click this. You will be transitioned to a screen which allows you to check and correct the words in the post.

This Spell Check module is freeware. The author of these modules has the following web sites which you might want to check out.
