Selling a House in Thailand
Me and the mrs are selling our house in Pattaya to help fund building a new house Bang Chang way. Has anyone any experience of this? The house and land is in the Mrs's name (Thai). We wern't planning on using a lawyer. Is there anything we need to look out for? Is there a list of things we need to do?

oxyjohn,
You really don't need a lawyer, the land office does everything for you. We used a real estate company when we wanted to buy a townhouse and they did all the searching until they found us what we wanted. The land office and the bank did all the rest. We were told it works the same when selling.

Thanks Ramjet, got an offer from a local who is getting a mortgage so from what you say both the bank and the tambon will make sure everthing is done right.
