05 - damaged woodBranch seemed clean and healthy, but decay + boring insects were quite advanced.
Pls, note that the cut was not perfectly clean here, but that branch was cut further, with a neat cut ^^SunTzu (0 votes)

10 - looks like finished treatmentBoth cuts look like finished treatment, look good with ruber paste ... but on the right, the cut direction was not optimal, meaning that the tree could not cover the cut directly. The tree then has to 'sacrifice' the branch remnant first (dead branch), wait for it to fall off, then try to cover the hole.
Exact opposite of tree doctoring. Had to ask the guys to climb again...
The one on the left is perfect.SunTzu (0 votes)

03 - Poinsettia old woundOne of the numerous old wounds on the poinsettias.
Should have been properly treated when fresh. Hole open on wood inside tree and vertical opening ideal for rain to get in, accompanied by insects + mushrooms...SunTzu (0 votes)
