Legrand connectorsThai electricians generally twist wires together and cover the joins with insulating tape. More modern methods would be chocolate strip or caps which are squashed with a crimping tool. These Legrand connectors are a push fit and neither require a screwdriver nor a pair of crimping pliers. Foundation of a column.The hollow core is filled with concrete at the same time as the footings are filled ensuring a contiguous pour of the entire matrix of footings and their foundations. The floor of the hole was lined with PVC damp course and the walls of the hole will be lined too. Another solution to keep the damp out of the foundations is to paint the masonry with bitumen.

EinweihungThe house was blessed: everyone paraded round the house three times, holy water was splashed amply around then everyone into the house to deposit gifts on the bed in the master bedroom. Candles were lit and holy string tied round our wrists. More mumbo jumbo, and we moved in and spent our first night there.jazzman

Pool Salt-water Chlorinator[pic before installation] The electrolytic unit sends information to the control unit on chlorine level and pool water salt level, and the control unit switches the electrolytic cell on and off, including pumping cycles and self cleaning cycles. By-products of the electrolysis include algicide.

DISASTERS !!!These are some of the things that W I L L happen if you go away and let the builders get on with it under the expert supervision of your Thai partner, your inlaws, or just with no supervision at all. People with pots of money can just laugh these things off. In the worst case sceneario, the cost of putting it right may be more than what is in your retirement fund .jazzman

9 March 2009This is the beginning of the wall work. Nothing dramatic yet but needs to be done. Two ladies were assigned the job of moving the 2,000 odd blocks onto the floor area in selected places to make them ready for the wall team to start installing them.pklongball
