Poured Foundation297 viewsThe poured foundation - which includes the outside ground beam (plus interior ground beams) and the poured floor surface. The floor was poured on top of the ground beam, so the level of the foundation increased by appx. 7 cm during the pour. Notice the plumbing in the bathroom and the vertical rebar each 40 centimeters.

Each block is 8 cm wide and the rendered wall will be 16 cm - 18 cm wide (the oversize cinder blocks at 16 cm wide). Notice the use of 1 cm wood spacers, which keep the blocks and equal distance apart. Both wood and prefabricated plastic spacers were used.dozer

Visual Roof Inspection291 viewsAs long as there is none of the foil insulation which adheres to, and is installed at the same time the cement tiles are installed, the roof can be inspected visually during rain storms for leaks.
