Steel Specification165 viewsSteel is sold as light, medium, full or industrial (?¹‚?¸£?¸§?¹??¸«?¸??¹?) which is a confusing system. The actual specification which refers to the strength required to deform 1 mm strand is printed on the side of the rebar, in this case SD30, on this 12 mm rebar. Only the full grade was used on all 6, 9 and 12mm throughout the project.dozer

Diagonal Checks for Column Placement162 viewsThe correct placement of columns is important to the overall project to ensure that the wall angles are as they should be and the house is as designed. Often the only tool used is an external measure + the use of a small square. This shows one additional check, taken from the 3 4 5 triangle rule. If you measure 3 meters along one axis and 4 meters along another axis the diagonal should be 5 meters (or in this case 6, 8 and 10). This is done in addition to measuring the diagonals for equality.dozer
