Formwork AssemblyThe metal forms are clipped into place using u bolts. They are rented at a daily rate depending with a price for each piece used. dozerSep 26, 2011

Metal FormworkThe metal formwork for the columns is lowered into place. The ordered quantity of forms was enough to allow the columns to be poured in two groups with one week allowed for curing. dozerSep 26, 2011

Spacers in WalkwayPreparing for the walk way pour around the exterior of the house. Although they are placing spacers they don't really work well for a floor pour as the rebar gets stepped on and bends. Here they are using 6mm rebar and wiring it together as opposed to the prefab welded rebar mesh. dozerSep 26, 2011

Rebar on top of PlasticThere is a piece of rebar which holds the welded rebar mesh in place until the floor is poured. It will be lifted into place during the floor pour (positioned half way in the floor). dozerSep 26, 2011

Damp Course put in PlaceUsing a heavier plastic that doesn't tear easy like the saran wrap type ones normally used. This is designed to keep moisture from seeping into materials above it. In addition a waterproofing agent is used on the floor pour.dozerSep 26, 2011
