Natural Stone Trim FinishingHere the natural stone trim is sanded to remove any residual cement dust or other dis colorants. Notice how the trim was applied to the columns, vertically and each vertical row is at a staggered offset. A nice touch to a column. dozerSep 27, 2011

Walkway Concrete PourDuring the walkway concrete pour. The walkways are done with concrete with a added natural pigment for coloration. Notice the blue PVC water line sitting under the rebar mesh. Tiling the Great RoomTiling in process. There are different tiles used in the kitchen, great room and bedrooms. The tile is laid over a concrete slurry mix and leveled using straight lines.dozerSep 27, 2011

Terrazzo CounterThis shows the raw dry concrete mixture (using a porland white cement + fine aggregate stones) being laid on top of the counter surface. It is important to not have too wet a mixture for strength of the finished counter top.dozerSep 27, 2011

Terrazzo Counter TrowelingThe dry concrete mix (with added natural pigment for coloration) is hand troweled into place. This requires experienced guys who know how to add just enough water (which is sprinkled on top of the dry concrete mix so it can be worked) and apply pressure to work out the air bubbles.dozerSep 27, 2011
