Plumbing Drain PipesThis shows what is to be the bathroom floor. Note the 4" solid waste drain and 2" shower drain. The smaller diameter pvc pipes are the pressurized water service pipes which will run from the automatic pump to the inbound fitting within the wall of the house.dozerSep 27, 2011

Pipes CappedNotice that in this shot the damp course has been put in place along with the support rebar for the floor pour. All drain pipes + inbound water pipes have been properly 'capped' (see the end of the PVC pipe) with a removable 'hat'. This will prevent any concrete contamination from entering and restricting flow within the pvc piping during the construction process. dozerSep 27, 2011

Pressurized Water Pipe TestA water test must be preformed early on in the building process. This test ensures that there are no leaks within the system. The automatic pump is set up and a run-in test is preformed for 24 hours. If there are any leaks in the system the pump will cycle on during the test. dozerSep 27, 2011
