vibrating.jpg
filling the formA measured quantity of mix is drawn into the 2- brick 'jelly mould' which is then mechanically vibrated. It takes about 15 seconds to produce and stack a pair of bricks. Two people working the plant can produce about 3,500 bricks in a day. That's enough for 290 m2 of wall, or about 1.5 houses the size of the Jazzman house. About 1,000 bricks were used for the motel.jazzmanMay 12, 2007

CurtainsI believe they are more often called 'drapes' in AE. In the same way, the thing on the top is called a 'pelmet' in standard BE as used in central and SE Asia, so it's probably best not to confuse the Thais by calling it a 'valence'. jazzmanMay 12, 2007

Master BedroomAt over 20 m2, big enough for a master bedroom in a budget English style bungalow. What you can't see in the photo are the walk-in wardrobe, the en suite bathroom and the door to the bedroom's private patio.jazzmanApr 24, 2007

Sewage FarmNo everyone's tastiest topic for discussion. This is a correctly designed double chamber system, separating the grey water and the black water. The back yard will be raised flush with the tops of the silos and the pipes will be buried.jazzmanApr 24, 2007

Back DoorThe plan is to build a pergola for shade in the evenings here and watch the sunset over the large fish pond.jazzmanApr 24, 2007
fn_Leach_Pipe.jpg
Leach pipe.A leech system septic tank always end with a system of these. Should need no further description. It's a 4" / 100 mm pipe with holes drilled in it. See the forum on Plumbing to know more.
Seepage tanks should also have an overflow pipe. It is essential to measure the percolation of the substrate before simply installing the more simple seepage type of tank.

Living RoomSeen from the kitchen. For a small house, the living room is deceptively spacious. The whole floor space is usable, no wasted nooks and crannies - a result of cunning interior design.jazzmanApr 24, 2007

EnIn spite of a harmonious design by Mrs Jazzman, the builders managed to use THREE different shades of grout on the floor tiles although the bags were laid out and labelled.jazzmanApr 24, 2007
