July 10Today we have a completed electrical panel. I am impressed with the finished look but more importantly all the circuits checked out Ok the first time they were heated up. No need to rewire anything. Sparky has completed the house portion of the job and will call PEA to come out and install the permanent meter. For now he moved the construction power/meter line over to the main house supply lines to give the house a temporary supply.2 commentspklongballJul 10, 2009

July 9Let there be light! Sparky connected the lighting circuits and he installed the breakers. We decided to check his wiring skills so we connected the construction power to the breaker to test the lights and switches. As you can see we do have a working light.pklongballJul 09, 2009

July 7Here is the empty box from one of the fans. We bought a brand called Starlight. I was actually looking at the Compass East brand called Sunlight and the rep a Homeworks talked my wife into this brand. All the units have a 10 year warranty on the motor so we shall see how they work I guess.pklongballJul 09, 2009

July 7This is an empty box from the second style of Starlight fan. Two of the units have a external 3 way rotary switch to turn on to the desired speed and the other 3 fans have the usual pull chain on the motor. None have lights.pklongballJul 09, 2009

July 9Now we get to the main panel and Sparky's wiring notes. Did he get all the connections correct>? By the time I posted this photo Sparky has made all the connections and installed all the breakers and tested a few of the lighting circuits.pklongballJul 09, 2009
