SoffitThe soffit material is screwed into the suspension rails in 60 centimeter sections. Note that this nature board (Shera brand) and other soffit material is much more whether resistant than gypsum wallboard (even the moisture resistant kind). Most comparable houses use gypsum for the soffit material which isn't advisable. dozerSep 27, 2011

Plastered and Taped ceilingTape is applied to the joints and plastered into place. The screws are counter sunk and then plastered, as standard during ceiling installation. dozerSep 27, 2011

Roof InspectionDon't fool yourself into thinking CPAC roof tiles are totally dummy proof. Leaks often occur at the ridge lines and valleys. A inspection during a rain cycle ensures compliance. This roof had no leaks, hurray!dozerSep 27, 2011

Lanko K10 waterproofingAny roof not dry teched will need a waterproofing treatment at the ridges even after any visible imperfections are caulked. This house used this product over every section of ridge joint. dozerSep 27, 2011

The frame work for the roof structure is box section 4 inch x 2 inch heavy 3.2 mm thick metal sections. There are columns at even intervals so a more extensive truss system is unnecessary (as opposed to Chok Dee #1).dozerSep 27, 2011

Hip Roof StructureThe raw hip roof structure. The key members are the 3.2 mm thick steel with intermediate sections done in the 2.0 mm thick steel. Box sections are used throughout, no C sections. dozerSep 27, 2011
