Rear ViewRear of the house. The door leads into the kitchen. There's a 1.5 meter patio outside the kitchen, and eventually, we'll install a 1,000L water tank and pump between the door and the bedroom window to the right.DrDave

Electric BoxesWhen we returned to the site, we found that they had installed the boxes for the plugs about 140cm off the ground. One of those things that makes you scratch your head and say "what were they thinking?". We had them move these down to about 40-50cm in the living room.DrDave

Resized Kitchen WindowOnce we returned to the site, I noticed that they made the window rough openings lower than I had expected. No problem, except in the kitchen, where there would be a counter and sink under a window. In order to allow enough room for a backsplash over the counter, we decided to make this one window a little smaller by adding 3 rows of brick, and doing the rendering again.DrDave

Breaker Box (Consumer Panel)First they put it in the front bedroom. Then my wife told them to move it to the kitchen rear wall, above the washing machine, where it would be in a "utility area" out of sight. Where they actually put it was in the kitchen entryway, in plain sight when sitting in the living room. Really ugly. D'oh!DrDave

Bedroom ViewThe view from the 150x100 rear bedroom window. The entire land plot is about 2 rai, with other family houses on either side. To the rear are banana trees and a klong, affording a nice view.DrDave
