Minature Circuit BreakerSide and front view of a modular MCB. This one is for 16A. These MCBs are standard equipment in many countries now. They replace fuses. They never need changing. If they trip out, just reset the switch - after troubleshooting the reason of course!jazzman

MCB: 2-pole master SwitchA modular automatic Minature Circuit Breaker of the 2-pole (Live and Neutral) type. All Consumer Unit 'fuse boxes' start with one of these which feeds the MCBs for the other circuits. Notice the amperage of this one.jazzman

Timer module. An analog timer to fit on the rack inside the MCB housing. This one will carry 16A. An MCB (of the same or a lower amperage should be inserted in the circuit AFTER the clock the MCB will trip out before the overload wrecks the timer. Can be used for anything from perimiter lighting to pool filtration. Needs to be coupled to a relay if high amperage switching above 16A.jazzman

Timer module - side view.If operating higher amperage circuits than 16A, it is usual to use one of these coupled with a relay . The relays come in the same standard rack module. Timer cost: about 2,000 baht. Digital versions available.jazzman

Pool Chlorinator Control Unit[pic before installation] Wall mounted control unit for saltwater chlorinator. Includes timer for filtration cycles. Sensor in catalisor unit measures Chlorine level and switches the pumping cycle on and off as required, producing chlorine to the required level. jazzman
Pool Salt-water Chlorinator[pic before installation] The electrolytic unit sends information to the control unit on chlorine level and pool water salt level, and the control unit switches the electrolytic cell on and off, including pumping cycles and self cleaning cycles. By-products of the electrolysis include algicide.
The system enables a minimum of intervention by the pool owner.jazzman
