upgrading to phpBB 3.0

As most of you know the forum runs on an open source PHP based platform called phpBB. The forum is currently on version 2.0.22. phpBB has done a complete re write, the new app is really clean and a lot of 'mods' such as attachment-mod, captcha's, etc. etc. are now built in. I am working to upgrade the forum software. The last glitch is between the forum and the picture gallery, which runs on Coppermine, another open source php based program. phpBB and Coppermine are 'bridged' at the coolthaihouse, meaning you only need one user ID to do both.

The coppermine team looks like they were having a problem upgrading the bridge file/manager to work with the new phpBB 3.0, but I am looking more into this and will be looking to install in the next few weeks.

The existing skins/profiles will go away and we will only be using the default template, but, other than that, the existing feature set will all be there with many new features also.
