Recent Downtime

Post by dozer »

If you had noticed the server was down for almost two days on Sunday and Monday due to a serious crash and other co-incidental problems. No data was lost, the system has been restored and is back to normal as of Monday evening BKK time.

I did notice also but as I sometimes have issues with my network connection I had to ask a friend if he was also having problems accessing the site. It was confirmed he was also so I had to wait for my daily fix of reading CTH. All is well now so life goes on and I can enjoy my morning coffee reading CTH

Navigation through a bulletin board can indeed be quite daunting at times, but the CoolThaiHouse forum is based on one of the most user friendly forum software packages available. All you have to remember is the hierarchy;
  • There is the index page showing all the forums.
    Each forum has different topics started by members.
    The topics contain members answers and new postings.
Where you are now for example, is:
Board index/General Forum/Topic about feature requests and problems.

If you look up at the navigatiion bar you will see that line displayed. Wherever you are on the board, that line will tell you where you are. And if you do get lost, all you need to do is click your browsr's 'back' button to return to the page(s) you were on :D
