Hi, great site.
I think a beneficial thing you could do with your site is to have a section of builders that farangs have personally recommended.
It will help make your site the 'go to' site for building issues, as people are always keen to know who the good contractors are. Hopefully, once word gets around amongst contractor, it will make them lift their game so they can potentially get a mention on your site.

One of the problems here is you have the middleman and then you get to the primary 'contractor' who is the real valuable person. Often these contractors have no office, are busy all the time on contract and are used to doing business word of mouth (ie hard to get ahold of). That being said, it is certainly a valid point and I see the 'specific recommedations' section of this forum being used to that end.
