UPDATE:
We were also out to our friend's land while in Chiang Mai. This is a nice piece of land with mountains in the background. (tried to get them in the picture, but didn't.....sun) I happen to know that this land can be gotten for a very good price if you are interested in living out this way. Several villages and housing developments not too distant, so it's growing out that way.... short trip to the big garden project they opened last year....can't think of the name now.
Has running water in front, kind of like a creek, but lined in concrete. Land would need fill.

by the way my husband and I never take a percentage for telling anyone about a friends property for sale, so there isn't anything added to any of the selling prices for commissions.
