Tried recently (via my lawyer a DMA Consultants) to get a usufruct at the Banglamung Land Office. This was flatly refused, they're only prepared to issue leases. When I queried this with my lawyer, she said that although usufructs are legal here, it's up to the boss at the land office. I suspect it'...
