Sunpax Smithson said to use turpentine at 50 50 ratio as non organice solvents are difficult to find over here and make sure you coat in thin layers, if you put too much on the surface it will end up sticky and you will not get the desired finish.

Sunpax maybe better to PM him I got some a few weeks back but have not used any yet, when you do apply it thinly otherwise it will take a long time to dry. BTW I collected from his shop in Bangkok.

Sunpax, I don't think you can insure during the build but after completing it is a simple matter to get insurance on the property. Secrete is don't pay builder too much in advance and keep enough back so he completes to your satisfaction.

My house and land are in a company name and when the building was completed part of the deal to pay the exorbitant "extras" the builder had to change the meter over to a normal utility meter. This was a bit of a run around mostly beacause the builder did not know what paperwork was require...

We bougth 4 1/2 rai for 70 K baht \ rai about 10 km ouside of Kanchanaburi two years ago now I think it is about 120 K \ Rai, it has asphalt road, power and water and even telephone and internet available. If we build two story we can see the mountains, we have only put a gate and fence for the time...
