gidday its the thai fly from mae rim....has any one on C.T.H. .... PAY THE LOCAL POLICE to inspect there property each day for a monthly fee...or any thoughts on the matter ...whether it is a good service or bad. or worth the monthly fee.. does it improve your security status????.... i do use this service in mae rim..i just interested if any one has there views on the above...its never been mentioned before on c.t.h... its a POLICE GIDDAY TO ALL ...its the thaifly from mae rim

It depends what you want them to inspect THAIFLY.
If the crooks know you have police protection, then they will also know there is something worth nicking

gidday to the great jazzman ...its the thaifly from mae rim......to your post ....we have three coppers on the beat..they come on alternative days...between 9.am......6p.m......always at different times....they spend between 2....3.....minutes on our property.....and at times longer if they mag with my shelia...if something is shifty in the immediate district they tell my shelia ....and that any thing she is not comfortable with......immediately ring them ...24..hrs a day we have there mobile numbers and or so mae rim number as well ...if we have a problem in mae rim district....away from our home........i feel its a deterent to a crook to look for greener pastures if you have THE RED POLICE BOX.....as we very well know ...the people give the police the greatest respect here for very good reasons.......ITS A COPPER GIDDAY TO ALL ITS THE THAI FLY FROM MAE RIM

gidday to the great jazzman and all ..... we reside 12 ks from the main station...the fee is 1000 baht a month..if you live closer to the station it is 500 baht a month...we had a minor accident about 18 months ago in mae rim ..called S.O.S.. and within 5 mins three police arrived and politely told me to return to my car...a few mins later...they done THE BIZZO......they then come over to me and said THAIFLY....the other party will pay damages in full......DONT WORRY...EVERTHING IS TAKEN CARE OF.....and just a couple weeks ago...we employed a casual gardner to do some work... they took a mugshot of him and his I.D.. JUST IN CASE HE GETS UP TO NO GOOD....we did not asked for this to be done...they just look after us....its A RED POLICE BOX OF GIDDAY TO ALL ITS THE THAIFLY FROM MAE RIM

Glad to hear it worked out. I have always steered clear since hearing of cases where the ones doing the service were the same ones causing the problems.

gidday d ozer ......its the thaifly from mae rim....TALK ...to my way of thinking...is always. CHEAP....proof in the pudding...is the KEY.... maybe your neck in the woods is prone to your cases reported to you ?????... and following is a further confirmation of the services of the POLICE RED LETTER BOX at CHIANG MAI......we recenlly finished our roof over the main gate ...it was a very ordinary job done by the builder to say the least.......and i had a ROMPER STOMPER time with the builder during the time it was built.......the police were informed of the diffulties we were having ........and were in presence when we paid the builder in full...and he was politely told by them not to be seen at our property again.....its a good police of mae rim gidday to all its the thaifly from mae rim

ITS A GIDDAY TO ALL..its the thai fly from mae rim..in recent days..members have been having a nice discussion on security angles on their propertys etc etc... please read this thread..this is the best peice of insurance one can get...since my last post..18 months ago...it appears to the fly ...the longer you are on their books.. and they get to know you more ..the service gets even better..from the top end of town.. ..its a DAPSY DILLY MORNING GIDDAY TO ALL...its the thaifly from mae rim

Thaifly you shrewd bugger this is the service i want but will all the stns do it or is it a local deal with a brown envelope of folding stuff i for one would gladly part with the dough especially as i get itchy feet and tend to bolt for a day a week a fortnight at a time i would even go as far as leaving a cold drink located where they can help themselves if you are not there
