I think i have other issues too. The power extends to a light pole in the next block and also loops to our neighbour across the soi.
An alternative is to put a short pole in to support the meters and then run underground. It means I may have to cut the concrete soi to get power to my neighbours. This isnt such a bad idea as I Can then fix the water pipe going to my neighbours. They ran the pipe over the concrete and then concreted over, sort of like a speed hump.
Temp power from next door, my bro in law, is a good idea?

Having a speed bump could be good.

Also using you BIL's power also can be a good idea depending on his usual usage, in our case it is good.

That speed hump is in the middle of my frontage. I can see problems with cement trucks damaging it and i can also see a problem with my " new" driveway being directly in line with it. Another issue onto the initial "to do" list.
