Camera with Adjustable LensThese camera had adjustable lens from 3.6 to 8mm. The lens is normally fixed -- 3.6mm being wide angle to 16mm being narrow distance. Also the exterior cameras came designed in a weather proof housing so no additional housing was required. dozer

Dome Camera Initial InstallationThe initial dome camera installed was not water proof and needed to be replaced with a different model.dozer

Hooking Up a LAN Connection PointThe original cctv installation crew works on getting a LAN connection point working. It took them a while but they finally got it going. dozer

Metal Face PlateThe metal face plate needed to be replaced on the metal bar overhanging the roof ridgeline. Here is is being worked prior to welding and then lifting into place.dozer

Speed Dome AccessThe speed dome camera required a lot of service for various reasons and was in an extremely hard to get to location, up 7 or more meters from the ground. Here is the longest bamboo ladder we could find. dozer

Speed DomeThe exterior speed dome with 20 to 1 zoom. The camera is controllable from any computer on the network or over the internet (via the DVR). dozer

Camera TransformersThe camera transformers that came with the CCTV cameras were very unreliable. Eventually we got rid of all of the transformers and went with a more logical 'switching' design (were there is a central power center which accepts 220 V and outputs several channels of 12 DC. dozer

Wiring a CameraAs the electrician had to run the RJ6 and power wires anyway it ended up making the most sense for him to simply install the cameras. The electrician worked a lot neater (and cheaper) than the CCTV camera installers. dozer

Servicing the Dome CameraAccess isn't that easy as the dome camera is up very high. The first camera went out during a brown out (when it was still hooked up to a transformer) - here the replacement is wired up to switching power. dozer
